Sales / Business Development Executive


Role Purpose:

Our client is a family-owned independent dealer of stationery and office supplies servicing a broad range of customers from SME’s, government bodies and the educational sector. Located in the Dublin 15 area, they are now looking for a talented and ambitious Sales executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer calls, addressing inquiries, providing information about products/services, resolving customer issues, and driving sales opportunities through effective telesales strategies.
On occasions, the successful candidate may be required to visit and present to clients at their place of work.
The role combines excellent customer service skills with a proactive sales approach to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.


Responsibilities:

Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding products/services.
· Resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Provide timely follow-up on open customer issues or inquiries.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers.
· Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services.
· Identify customer needs and offer suitable product recommendations.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing deals through effective communication and persuasion.
· Record customer interactions and update CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.


Knowledge and Experience:

Proven experience in BTB sales both in an inside sales role and in a face to face environment.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to handle customer objections and resolve issues effectively.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and KPIs.
