Customer Service Administrator
Role Purpose:
Our client is an Irish financial institution who provide a range of financial products such as Mortgages, Savings and investments to its clients. They are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our growing team as a Customer Service Official in their branch in Co Kildare. This is a key front-line role responsible for providing high-quality support to clients, ensuring an excellent experience and maintaining the integrity and trust associated with our brand.
Responsibilities:
• Delivery of first-class customer service by phone, email, and in-person (where applicable)Handle customer queries, transactions, and account maintenance with accuracy and efficiency
• Assist clients with a range of financial products and services, including personal savings accounts, mortgages, and online banking
• Resolve issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating where necessary
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and company products
• Ensure all interactions comply with internal procedures and regulatory standards (e.g. Central Bank of Ireland guidelines)
• Accurately log and update customer interactions in the CRM system
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Knowledge and Experience:
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent; a relevant third-level qualification is a strong advantage
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within financial services or banking
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help customers
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems
• QFA or APA qualification (or working toward it)
• Knowledge of Irish financial products and services
• Experience with regulatory compliance in a financial context
