Pension Administrator
Role Purpose:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full time / Part-Time Pension Administrator to join their team in the Dublin 15 area. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and support of pension schemes, ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional client service.
This is a flexible role suited to a professional who holds a QFA qualification and has a strong understanding of pension products and regulatory requirements in Ireland.
This role is office based.
Responsibilities:
• Administer a portfolio of group and individual pension schemes (PRSA, Personal Pensions, Executive Pensions, etc.)
• Process contributions, fund switches, retirement claims, and transfer requests in line with pension rules and compliance guidelines
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely updates to systems and documentation
• Act as a point of contact for client queries, providing professional and timely support
• Liaise with product providers, financial advisors, and trustees
• Support internal reporting, audits, and compliance checks
• Keep up to date with changes in pension legislation and regulatory requirements
• Assist in improving processes and contributing to best practice standards
Knowledge and Experience:
• QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) certification – essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a pension administration or financial services role
• Strong knowledge of Irish pension products, legislation, and Revenue/PRSA/IORP requirements
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and pension administration systems
Desirable:
• Experience with pension administration software (e.g., Broker platforms, CRM systems)
• Knowledge of compliance, AML, and GDPR in a financial services context
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
