Technical Sales Representative


Role Purpose:

Our client provides formwork, falsework and shoring solutions to the global construction industry and they are now looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team based in Ballinasloe and covering the West of Ireland. Reporting to the National Sales Manager and Managing Director, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for the promotion of company products and services, and the achievement of Hire and Sales Revenue targets.


Responsibilities:

• Building strong and profitable relationships with clients and key business influencers within the sales process
• Meet and exceed personal targets as agreed with company
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Creating new and profitable revenue streams form prospecting existing and target customers within the sector
• Deliver the highest standards of customer service at all time to clients and prospective new customers
• Manage pipelines to ensure that deals are concluded satisfactorily
• Cover the designated territory effectively and in a planned manner to maximise opportunities for the company
• Provide accurate and timely information to Sales Manager
• Ensure quality enquiries and information are provided to company engineering and operations teams to ensure Customer’s expectations are fully met and exceeded


Knowledge and Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience in selling to the Construction Industry
• Proven track record in meeting and achieving targets
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as high performing team
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Full clean Driving Licence
